The Costco appears to be a done deal but they still have to get the plan through the planning commission and the city council.

Note what appears to be non-public meetings between the developer and Jason Killebrew, assistant city manager.

Brea leaders approved a tax-sharing agreement with the land owner that paved the way for the big box store and gas station while some residents question if the negotiations violated the state’s open meeting law.

Location: Army Corps of Engineers sign (east side of Rose at Vesuvius)
Bring a chair and come be part of the conversation.
