The Bike Bus movement is growing! Let's get the kids out of the cars and stop pretending it's 1950. With democracy seemingly in decline at the moment, a great way to fight one really, huge tyranny in this so-called democracy is to get out of the car and rejoin with the world, the air, your community, and your own body.

Really interesting film about this great international program. We need a Cycling Without Age effort in communities throughout Vermont.

There is something about riding a bike that makes you feel like a kid again. The new documentary Cycling Without Age explores how pedal power can rekindle this childlike wonder after we lose our ability to ride.

Doors at 5:30. The film is about 30 minutes long - plenty of time for a nice meal in the Junction after. 😉

It's time to move beyond "old-school" bike advocacy. "Just do it" and "don't ask for permission".

CRANKSGIVING SUCCESS! Thanks to the stellar organizing efforts of Peter "Fish" Case from Burrows Sports & Rev. Jeremy Kirk of West B's 1st Congregational Church, local bike riders helped raise over 500 lbs of food & $1600 for the Church food pantry.

Cranksgiving is a growing national food drive (hmm...ride) by bike. This was Brattleboro's first! Ours featured a gaggle of the ever-present e-cargo bikes in town. They delivered a lion's share of the goods! Go cargo bikes!

Fish is planning a much larger Crankgiving event for next year. So, get your bikes ready & if you have a cargo bike, this is a great opportunity to do good work, show what a bike can really do and how they are improving our town.

The Davenports of West Brattleboro made it on the Madsen page for some of the best 2025 Halloween cargo bikes in the US. Theirs is on the upper right. Go Davenports!

A gaggle of cargo bikes came out for the 1st Brattleboro Cranksgiving. Folks loaded their bikes up with pasta, cans of beans, cereal, bottles of salsa, and lots more.

Next year, let's make this a really, really big deal. More bikes, more big bikes, more food delivered, and more money raised. There's a great connection between bicycles, food and giving back to the community. Let's do more of this!

The first annual Cranksgiving is in the books! Thank you to all that came out and contributed!! We’ll see you next year!
