Healthier priests. Stronger communities. This Trust is separate from all other diocesan finances to ensure that the funds are used solely for this purpose.

Clergy Trust is an independently managed trust that provides ongoing care and support for the health, well-being, and retirement of 500 active and senior diocesan priests in good standing across Greater Boston. Clergy Trust was established by the Archbishop of Boston to provide a continuum of care for the health and well-being of all diocesan priests in good standing. These funds are exceptionally well-managed with full transparency and accountability.

Last month, our Regina Cleri residence was filled with song when 57 children participating in the summer program at St. Mary Parish in Waltham came to visit our senior priests and showcased their musical talent!

Even priests have to let loose now and again. Last month, Fr. John Tanyi, parochial vicar at St. Mary’s Franklin, experienced a Ferris wheel for the first time at a carnival across the street from the Church!

As we celebrate the feast day of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, we remember his words: "The priest is not a priest for himself; he is a priest for you.”

In this video clip, Fr. Richard Clancy, pastor at St. Mary and St. Anthony Catholic Collaborative, tells a story that reminds us how our priests are there for us when we need them most.
