On behalf of Chelsea PD, Chief Houghton would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our partners at Project Delta for gifting CPD with comfort kits. Each police car will be equipped with a Project Delta backpack, which contains a stuffed animal. Officers will have the opportunity to provide a child with a backpack and stuffed animal to assist in comforting the child following traumatic, delicate or sensitive situations. Thank you Project Delta for helping us help others.

Troopers welcomed representatives from Delta Lodge Project Delta, after they drove here from Boston to hand-deliver stuffed animals to our New Haven office.

Project Delta provides public safety agencies the stuffed animals & carriers, free of charge, for first responders to have available for children in crisis situation. Learn more about their program at https://projectdelta.boston/
