Today’s trail work session on Quintuple was a good start to get the route in good shape again. We cleared some blowdowns, removed brush, and added about 70 new blazes. The trail still needs a lot of work, but every volunteer day helps. Thanks to Tim, Ovidiu, Shane, and Pete.

We will be meeting Sunday, August 16 at 9 AM in the parking lot across from the Pitt Fitness center nearest Dorothy Lane and the Trail. We will be w**d whacking doing saw work and pruning on the Quintuple Trail. anyone who would like to join us. See you then.

Marilla springs and White Pine trails are cleared and groomed! Thank you Tim Crissman, Shane Close and the Rhoades Family, 3 days of volunteer work!

Many, many downed trees on the trails at Marilla… this includes the Marilla Springs Trail (4 big trees) and White Pine on top and large pine tree on the Marilla springs side of White Pine… thank you for your patience as we work on getting it cleared for your enjoyment. We do most of this work in the evenings or on the weekends.

Thank you to the guys who volunteered to replace Mr. John Frontino’s bench on the White Pine Trail. WWII and Pearl Harbor survivor. Trail work season is in full swing at Marilla Reservoir.

🌲🥾 Hiking Group Update 🥾🌲

Hello fellow hikers! Just a quick note, there won’t be a guided hike tonight.

We’ll also be taking a short 2-week break from group hikes while your hike guides recharge a little! One of us is headed on vacation, and the other is spending some much-needed time working in the garden. 🌻☀️

We’ll miss hitting the trails with everyone, but we’ll be back soon and ready for more adventures together. In the meantime, enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and feel free to share any hikes or photos from your own adventures while we’re away! 💚 If anyone would like to guide a trail please reach out to us.

The TVTA of Bradford is in a neck-to-neck battle for the lead in the McKean County America 250 Trail Challenge. Please consider logging your activities to add to TVTA’s mileage total. Activities can be indoor/outdoor, any time, any place. Visit the Challenge Hound website or app and sign in to join the TVTA team. You can load activities manually, or click on the Apps section to sync your watch, phone, or GPS. Your miles will help the TVTA take the Crown and the $1000 prize for trail development and maintenance!
