While National Garden Week is technically over, MRGC is very grateful to our friends at Tropiflora for naming their tilandsia hybrid in honor of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs’s president and fellow club member of District VIII of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Christy Linke!

But do come to shop from 10:00-4:00 on Saturday June 20!
We’ll have lots of plants, floral arrangements, baked goods, and gift items from local vendors. It’ll all be under A/C in our clubhouse, so don’t let the hot weather stop you!!

What a week of celebrating Random Acts of Gardening and National Garden Week! Janice H. delivered this beautiful orchid arrangement from her garden over to Manatee Memorial Thrift Shop. Wasn’t Honda surprised when this wasn’t a donation drop off but a heartfelt random act of gardening for her and staff to enjoy! I ❤️ our members!

From planting flowers and vegetables to supporting pollinators and preserving our natural resources, gardening plays an important role in creating vibrant communities and promoting a healthy lifestyle for all ages.
