8 AM SUNDAY TROPICS: The area highlighted near the coast of Louisiana will continue to drift WNW over the next few days. Heavy rain can be expected in the northern and western Gulf later this week. The area near Puerto Rico is the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Dolly. That area stays unorganized this morning but can bring heavy rain to Puerto Rico and surrounding islands.
