LAN Party is an exhibition of new paintings by Ashley Andrykovitch.
“LAN 2nite, gonna be 1337!!1” An exhibition that explores nostalgia for a time when we were alone together, with our desktop computers. LAN Party includes new and past paintings and sculpture with imagery from local landscapes, nearby shopping malls, and obsolete technology. Andrykovitch explores themes including digital connectivity, planned obsolescence, end-stage capitalism, and the passage of time.

About the artist:
Ashley Andrykovitch is a visual artist based in Pittsburgh whose work includes painting, sculpture, and performance. She has shared her work locally at 707/709 Galleries, the Pittsburgh Glass Center, the Warhol, Assemble, UnSmoke Systems, Google Pittsburgh, and more. Her past work includes collaborations like Art Chat - a weekly newspaper article turned AM radio program with artist Juliet Pusateri, and The App Expo - a series of group exhibitions and performances with Ash Andrews. Andrykovitch is also a teaching artist who has led educational programs at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and Assemble. She is a resident artist at UnSmoke Systems in Braddock, PA.
