🎻 Pittsburgh Symphony Fiddlesticks Comes to Woodland Hills! 🎻

Please join us on Sunday, July 12 at 2:30 PM at the Woodland Hills High School Auditorium for a very special FREE performance of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Fiddlesticks Summer Adventure!

Designed for children ages 3–8, this interactive concert is fun for the whole family. All Woodland Hills residents and neighbors are welcome.

We are thrilled to welcome Maestro Moon Doh and members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to the WH High School stage for this exciting afternoon of music and discovery.

While admission is free, tickets are required due to auditorium capacity (approximately 800 seats). Please reserve your tickets in advance so we can ensure a full house and avoid turning anyone away.

Edgewood kindergarteners spent a day at Round Hill Farm! 🐖🐄🫏🚜

Fourth-grade students in Mrs. Yarnot's and Mrs. Campbell's classes further explored the Earth's rotation and revolution around the sun through a shadow activity. Students utilized unifix cubes, forming a shape of their choice, and ventured outside on four occasions during the school day - 10:30, 11:30, 1:30, and 2:30.

Through this exercise, students observed the shadow's movement each time they were outdoors. 🌎☀️🩵🖤

Ms. McBride and Ms. Hlasva has some mountain hikers! The fifth graders recently did a Mt. Everest study - which included geography, culture and camps (which included money for equipment, travel and supplies). After, they had a simulation climbing the mountain in the classroom! Some suffered frostbite, broken legs, low oxygen and some had a smooth ascent- pretend of course!

What a perfect way to prepare for the upcoming snow! ❄️❄️
