Haven has supported survivors of domestic violence and their families in Gallatin County since 1979. All services are free of charge and confidential.

Services include a 24-hour confidential crisis line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, individual counseling, referrals and community education. Haven also engages in prevention education by teaching local middle and high school children about dating, healthy relationships and respect.

Picture a private celebration in a beautiful historic barn, surrounded by the mountains of Gallatin Gateway. Good friends, wonderful food, something sweet, and an unforgettable setting for making memories together.

The 1889 Barn is opening its doors for a private celebration for up to 25 guests, featuring:

🍽️ A catered buffet dinner by Uncle Laurie’s Catering, bringing fresh, quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation to your gathering
🍰 A custom dessert table by The Baker Takes a Hike, adding a special sweet finish to the celebration
🍸 A bartender and full cash bar, with beverages available for purchase by guests or the host
🎉 Up to four hours to celebrate, gather, and enjoy the beautiful setting
Birthday? Engagement? Holiday gathering? Family celebration? Or simply a reason to get the people you love together?

We’re thrilled to announce that Emma and the Ledge will be joining us LIVE at Raising Hope on Friday, October 23!⁠

Emma and the Ledge is a guitar-slinging, blues-singing, blues/funk fusion band from the Gallatin Valley. Inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Beth Hart, and various blues greats from the ’70s to ’90s, the band brings an eclectic set of originals and covers with a re-imagined twist.⁠

They have received much acclaim throughout Montana with their unique performances and pioneering sound. The band has held the title for #1 Local Blues Band in Bozeman Magazine’s Readers Choice poll for multiple years, along with various other achievements and awards.⁠

-- From 2024: covered Bozeman's increased cases of strangulation.

Haven's then-executive director said at the time that survivors were realizing how incredibly serious strangulation is because of its felony status and the threat it poses to someone’s life.

“If someone has experienced strangulation in their relationship…that is a flag that they are at higher risk of homicide than maybe a survivor who has not experienced that,” (she) said.
