With the retreat this Friday through Sunday, I just wanted to say thank you to those who have been praying for the retreat and ask for you to continue praying for it as we have 22 young adults signed up to be there with us this weekend some that we know, and a lot that we don’t.

I would ask that you join me these next few days in fervent prayer for these specific requests

1. Pray for those who attend to have an open heart to the preaching of God’s word while we are there.

2. Pray for Safety for those who will be traveling as well as through the time there.

3. Pray that the lives of those attending be changed.

4. Pray for those who might not know Christ as their Savior attending and that their Eyes will be opened to the saving Grace only Given Through Jesus Christ on Calvary

Moody was finishing his work for the day. Through the conversation, Mr. Kimbal told him, "I want to tell you how much Christ loves you."
That day was a turning point for Dwight. His life would never be the same after he accepted Christ as his Saviour."
This week, think of some people that you will invite to our special meetings May 19th-22nd, and start talking to them now about the Gospel! Take the time to have face-to-face conversations with those around you about Christ!

Today is day two of our 30 min for 30 days!

"The work of God moves forward in power, in some places against dreadful opposition...Oh, what a world! How much it hates the truth! But I think the work will go on." -Daniel Nash

Over the next several weeks leading up to our special meetings, we may face opposition and discouragement. Sometimes, the opposition comes from ourselves! As we continue on in our 30 minutes of daily prayer, let's encourage one another to continue on with our commitment, even when we get discouraged!

Wonderful time today out in Gods creation. enjoyed a time of fellowship, hiking, food, and relaxation. The weather was beautiful!

-30 MINUTES FOR 30 DAYS-

Starting today, we are committing to spending thirty minutes in prayer each day for the next thirty days leading up to the start of our special meetings for Calvary Baptist Church beginning on May 19th! Each day, we will post a short story or quote of Revivals in history in which God has done a mighty work for His glory, to spread the Gospel, and to see souls saved.
God still wants to work in mighty ways through believers today. We ask you to commit today to joining us in prayer over the next 30 days that God would do a great work in our lives individually and in our community leading up to and through these special meetings!
