We are so grateful for the many partnerships and relationships we have been able to build over the years.

Immaculate Conception elementary school in Newburyport holds two school-wide clothing and diaper collections for us each school year. They had their spring/summer drive earlier this month with several bags of clothing, shoes and 1,000 diapers and wipe donations!

What a great way to end the school year and kick off summer while making a positive, lasting impact in their community. 💚🌳

✨ What an unforgettable Evening of Giving! ✨

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, auction participants, attendees, and supporters, our Gatsby-themed gala raised more than $130,000 to support local children and families in need.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who sponsored the event, donated auction items, bid on baskets, raised a paddle, and joined us for an evening filled with jazz, joy, and generosity.

A special thank you to our dedicated event committee for creating such a beautiful and memorable Gatsby-inspired experience, and to our amazing auctioneer for keeping the energy high throughout the night.

Because of your support:
❤️ Children will have clean clothes for school.
🍼 Babies will receive diapers, cribs, car seats, and other essentials.
🎒 Families will receive school supplies and backpacks this fall.
🎁 Parents will be able to provide new clothes and toys during the holidays.

If you have gently used boys’ clothing in these sizes, we need your help NOW! 💙

We will also gladly accept any spring/summer girls’ clothing you may have tucked away. ☀️👕👗

Community Giving Tree was honored to be one of several local nonprofit organizations that received a financial award from The Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. The foundation, established in 1997 through an initial endowment of $550,000 from The Savings Bank, presented a total of $74,000 to 24 nonprofit organizations during the 29th distribution of funds. Over the past 29years, the Foundation has made donations in excess of 1,091,847 to organizations in local communities.

The Savings Bank Charitable Foundation representatives Craig MacKenzie, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Raichelle Kallery, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Savings Bank; presented the award to Sharon Stearns, Development Director.

We recently expanded our services by introducing new donation drop sites in addition to our Giving Centers to make it easier for the community to donate essential items. We are now offering drop sites in North Andover, Methuen, Boxford, Topsfield, Salisbury, Newburyport and Groveland.

Our goal is to make it more convenient for our community to donate gently used clothing, baby equipment, and other essential items to support low-income families.

By expanding our services, we aim to increase our capacity to serve over 20,000 children annually. This expansion will have a significant impact on the lives of local families, alleviating financial hardship and supporting healthy child development.

We are so grateful for the continued support of our generous donors, as well as these amazing local businesses who have offered to be CGT donation drop sites.

Our “Bundles of Kindness”

Each day our volunteers lovingly make our clothing bundles filled with 3-4 days worth of in season clothing for our children, an age appropriate book and a small toy item which we refer to as a “bundle topper”. In the month of April alone we gave out over 1,300 bundles to our local children in need.

We are currently in need of those “bundle toppers” for our boy/girl bundles, birth - 7/8 yrs of age.

They could be small handheld toys, rattles, small gently used (laundered) stuff animals, taggies, small dolls such as Barbie’s, trucks, figures etc.

Earlier this month Lynnfield Moms group held their annual “spring fling” event. This is a fun event that has activities for families and young children to enjoy including face painting, train rides and more!

We are always so grateful that LMG invites us to come and join them for this fabulous community event and collect donations for our local children in need. The town of Lynnfield once again did not disappoint. We received a lot of clothing, diapers and equipment donations including a pack n play, bouncy seat and more!

Thank you, thank you to all who came out to support LMG and CGT! Our impact is greater when we do it together! 💚🌳💙
