In what may be the last Driving Tour of 2026 (weather is iffy in November), we had a gorgeous Saturday to head to the mountains!

Unfortunately, a LOT of other folks had the same idea. But, I don’t think it took to much shine off of the adventure. It was crowded, but still fun.

We had 18 adults and 3 adorable children meet at Cabela’s parking lot on October 24th. Everyone signed in, listened to safety meeting then we headed to Natural Bridge State Park’s SkyLift.

There were Venders selling everything from jewelry to honey and a LONG line for the SkyLift. Rich & Robyn Barsalona were the only ones that waited for a ride. Everyone else shopped and went to the Sandstone Arches Restaurant to have lunch.

After lunch we lined up again and drove into the Red River Gorge through Nada Tunnel and up to Sky Bridge Loop. It was too busy to find parking for 12 cars, so we just completed the drive. While leaf color was not at peak, it was still beautiful and the roads tested everyone’s Porsche driving skills.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the 2026 Driving Tours. I enjoy putting them together and I hope they are as fun for participants as they are for me.

A special thank you to Dru Martin. He drove his 1980 SC Targa all the way from Radcliffe and brought along Jessie, Anikan and Jude for the ride. They were delightful!

We’ll see what we can come up with for 2027!

Sounds promising.

We rode sh***un in a prototype of Porsche's upcoming all-electric Boxster and experienced its new battery layout, E-Shift technology, simulated sound, and sports car dynamics ahead of its debut late in 2027. Tap the link in the comments for the full story.

What a fun idea!!

Join us for Frunk or Treat at Porsche Louisville on Saturday, October 17 from 4–6 PM!

All makes and models are welcome, and the event is free and open to the public. Bring the family, dress up and enjoy an evening of cars, candy, and Halloween fun!

To ensure safety, display vehicles must arrive and stage between 3:30–4 PM. For the safety of our guests, no vehicles will be permitted to move within the exhibition zone after 4 PM.

All participating display vehicles are requested to bring plenty of their own candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters. We’ll have some backup candy on hand as well!
