THANK YOU to everyone that joined us for ThunderFest’26! What a great evening we had and the weather couldn’t have been better. We hope that everyone had a great time and we look forward to seeing you next year on July 3rd for the 56th Celebration. Thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, our vendors, our artists Bad Navigator, Andy and The Rockers and Gracee Shriver for the part each of you played in making the event a success. Our artists did amazing and brought their A game!

Thanks also to our Pyrotechnics team, our sponsors, Richardsville Fire Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Foundation , and especially to all of the staff at Warren County Parks and Recreation Department for hosting the event and providing a great team.

Thanks to all of our media partners as well. I’m sure we missed someone who helped but know we appreciate each of you. The best thing is that we will continue to be able to support local charities and the youth and children of south central Kentucky!

We hear you! It’s going to be hot, so we have made a last minute change to keep everyone safe.

Due to the high temperatures expected, coolers are welcome at Thunderfest so you can bring water and stay hydrated.

To help keep Thunderfest a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly event, alcohol is not permitted.

All coolers are subject to inspection, and anyone bringing alcohol into the event may be asked to leave without reimbursement.

We can’t wait to kick off America’s 250th anniversary with you all!

Heat advisory! It’s going to be hot, and we want everyone to stay safe. ☀️

Coolers are not allowed, and we encourage you to support our local food trucks when you’re able. They’re small business owners who show up, work hard, and help make events like this possible.

That said, water is allowed and encouraged!

Please bring water, drink plenty of it, and take care of yourself and your people.

We love a festive crowd. We do not love heat exhaustion. 😅
