Formula Sun Grand Prix 2025 is in the books! This year the Luminous Lemon placed 11th out of 26 in the SOV class, improving our car to get 30 total laps, 13 more than last year. Other highlights include improving our fastest lap time by over 2 minutes this year and having zero tows off the track. Mechanical issues added a few penalty laps, and electrical issues kept us off track the first day, but that didn't stop us! 

We are thankful to our sponsors and everyone that supported us, allowing us to get on track for the second year in a row. Special thanks to the staff at the race who took us through scrutineeering to make sure we had a safe and reliable car on track, as well as all the teams that helped us, suffered through the heat with us, and shared their ideas and experiences that we will use to make the our next car even better!

Day 1 of scrutineering in the books! It was amazing to see our hard work and long travels start to pay off at . Featuring the off-road forklift, a skinny bridge, "I don't wanna", and teambuilding.

Our team wrapped up another great semester at MSU! Our Electrical Engineering senior design team designed and constructed a brand new, custom battery management system for our car!
