The Recovery Champion Trading Card Series has a presenting partner. 💜 We’re proud to recognize Recovery Beyond , presenting partner of this year’s Recovery Champion Trading Card Series.

Recovery Beyond shared why Recovery Day matters to them:
“We support Recovery Day to build community, celebrate healthy adventures, and show that thriving beyond addiction is possible.”

That spirit is exactly what September 27 is about. Bringing people together, celebrating recovery, and creating opportunities to connect with the people and organizations that make up Washington’s recovery community.
And yes, Recovery Beyond is part of the collection too.

Look for their card while exploring the Recovery Resource Fair before first pitch.

30 cards. One Recovery Day collection.

What an awesome way to end the week: spending time in beautiful Okanogan County with incredible recovery community champions. đź’ś

A highlight was connecting with longtime peer leader and recovery advocate Jerri Stanley of HAPS Recovery Services in Omak as we planned WRA’s upcoming Okanogan County listening session. Jerri was an incredible guide, helping us better understand the region’s behavioral health and recovery landscape as we visited communities along the Highway 97 corridor.

Thursday evening, we attended the opening night of Hope Dealers, a documentary sharing real stories of addiction, recovery, resilience and hope. The film highlights people impacted by substance use disorder and celebrates the recovery journeys, relationships and community support that make healing possible.

The film featured Victor Estrada of the Central Washington Recovery Coalition, a longtime and much loved member of the WRA community, along with other recovery champions from across the region. Through personal stories and honest conversations, Hope Dealers reminds us that recovery is possible and no one has to walk the journey alone.

The film was created by Joseph Hunter and Mike Ensley, who have produced several projects highlighting recovery and strengthening communities. If you missed this showing, watch for their upcoming screening in Wenatchee and learn more at hopedealersmovie.com.

On the horizon: WRA, in partnership with HAPS Recovery, will host an Okanogan County Recovery Listening Session on October 21.

Throughout October, WRA will host several listening sessions across Washington, creating opportunities for people in recovery, peers, families, providers and community partners to share what’s working, what’s missing and what recovery support should look like in their communities.

Stay tuned for details about a listening session in your region.

Thank you, Okanogan County, for the hospitality, conversations and reminder of how powerful it is to be together in community. đź’ś

This is what finding yourself in recovery can look like. đź’ś Six years sober! & counting! Grant Evans found more than a new passion in dirt bike racing; he and his wife found community, friendship and space to grow into who they are today.

Thank you, Grant Evans, for sharing your story and showing what becomes possible in recovery.
