🌟 Another Inspiring NorthShore Rotary Meeting! 🌟

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming Rebecca Minelga from Guide Dogs for the Blind – Lynnwood Puppy Raisers. Rebecca shared the incredible journey of raising and training guide dogs and the life-changing impact these amazing dogs have on individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca for taking the time to educate and inspire us through her passion, service, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. 🦮❤️

We would also like to extend a warm welcome and thank you to our special guest, Chidi, and to our future Rotarians who joined us today. We loved having you with us and hope to see you again soon!

We are thrilled to officially welcome Terri into the Rotary family. Thank you for choosing to join us in our mission of Service Above Self. 🐾 Join Us Tomorrow at Northshore Rotary! 🐾

Looking for an inspiring lunch break?

Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at 12:00 PM at Copperworks Distilling (7324 NE 175th St, Kenmore) as we welcome Rebecca Minelga—author, speaker, guide dog puppy raiser, and community advocate.

Rebecca will share her incredible journey of nearly 20 years raising guide dog puppies, supporting families involved in the program, and helping transform lives through the power of partnership between people and service animals. She has also been featured in the award-winning documentary Pick of the Litter and works alongside her therapy dog, Santana, bringing comfort and support to schools and organizations throughout our community.

Come learn how one person’s passion can create a lasting impact for so many.

What an exciting time for NorthShore Rotary! 🎉

At yesterday’s meeting, we celebrated the incredible success of our Bingo Bonanza, with an estimated $22,000 in net proceeds raised to support community projects and initiatives. None of this would have been possible without our amazing volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and community partners.

A special thank you to Copperworks Distilling in Kenmore and De La Soil for generously donating the venue and delicious food, allowing us to direct 100% of event proceeds back into our community. ❤️

We also celebrated another successful Kenmore Cleanup Day, where fellow Rotarians came together to collect eight bags of litter and help keep our community beautiful. Service above self in action!

What an incredible evening at our NorthShore Rotary Bingo Bonanza!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous support from our community. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated raffle prizes, participated in Raise the Paddle, purchased tickets, and helped make this event such a memorable success.

One of the most inspiring moments of the evening was hearing from our scholarship recipients. Their stories, aspirations, and reflections on how these scholarships have impacted their lives served as a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Investing in our youth is investing in the future of our community, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helps make these opportunities possible.

The room was filled with laughter, generosity, friendship, and community partnership. It was a beautiful reflection of what can happen when local businesses, community organizations, volunteers, and neighbors come together in the spirit of service.

A special thank you to all of our Bingo Callers who generously donated their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the evening. Your participation helped create a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for everyone in attendance. We are truly grateful for your support and willingness to be part of the fun!

What a wonderful NorthShore Rotary meeting today! 💙

Thank you to our amazing Rotarian guest speaker, Mike England, for educating us on ADRAG (Alzheimer’s/Dementia Rotary Action Group) and the meaningful work being done to support individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia. From Music Mends Minds to the CART Fund and Rotary Action Groups, it was inspiring to learn how Rotary continues making a difference around the world.

A special thank you as well to Cheryl Ann and Terri for visiting us today! We hope we made a good impression on you and that you come back again soon 😊
