MSCA’s Young Adult Empowerment Conference is bringing together young adults living with Sickle Cell Disease for a day focused on connection, education, leadership, wellness, and empowerment.

This conference was created to help bridge the gap between pediatric and adult care while creating a safe space for young adults to learn, grow, share experiences, and build community with others who truly understand the journey.

Far too many sickle cell warriors grow up navigating challenges that most people never see.

On May 27th, we’re coming together at the Massachusetts State House to advocate for better care, stronger support systems, and meaningful change for individuals living with sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia.

This conversation matters. These stories matter. These lives matter.

Join us as we push for legislation that would directly impact the future of sickle cell care across Massachusetts. ❤️

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Michael Jacob, one of our young adult warriors, former child ambassador, and leader within the YACN community.

Our hearts are with his loved ones and everyone grieving this tremendous loss. 🕊️❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, caregivers, and mother figures who show up with strength, love, and resilience every single day. ❤️

In the sickle cell community, we know that motherhood often means advocating, comforting, sacrificing, and loving through it all.

Today, we celebrate YOU. Thank you for all that you do.
