The Krewe of Gemini mourns the loss of Colonel Greg Watson, a cherished member of our Krewe, devoted husband and father, and dedicated servant to our nation.

Our hearts are with his wife, Michele Watson, and daughter, Kaitlin Dougherty, both beloved members of the Krewe of Gemini family as well as his children Amanda Watson, Emily Watson, Allison Watson, Eric Watson, Alex Watson and all of Greg’s family, friends, and fellow airmen.

The Krewe of Gemini is more than an organization. We are a family, and today, we grieve the loss of one of our own.

May we honor Greg’s memory through the legacy of service, leadership, and friendship he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Lieutenant Colonel Watson. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Get to know Captain Gemini ###VIII!

Patrick “Patchy” Gallagher was born and raised in Shreveport. He graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He is currently in his 19th year with the Caddo Parish Clerk of Courts Office working as a Certified Deputy Clerk in the Criminal Department.

​Captain Patrick has been with the Krewe of Gemini for the past 16 years where he has served as Captain-Elect, King ###III, Duke of Arkansas XXVI, Parade Chair from 2018 – 2025, Assistant Float Lieutenant for Float G, Bal Committee, Golf Tournament Committee, Nomination Committee, and on the New Member Liason Committee. When not leading Gemini ###VIII, he enjoys camping with friends, golfing, cooking and anything LSU.

​Patrick has been married to his beautiful wife Queen ###III, Mary, who is his biggest supporter. They have four children together along with 2 dogs and 2 cats. He is looking forward to a GREAT YEAR with the Krewe of Gemini!
