May 29th, 2016… meet at the Bossier dealer at 10:00 am KSU at 10:30 am, ride to veterans memorial in Belcher, eat at Main Street Restaurant in Gilliam, a ride through beautiful country back to north market near Brookshire's.

HOG MEMBERS & FRIENDS..... After MUCH consideration and watching the weather closely .... the rescheduled ride to Jefferson, TX to have dinner and ride the Fright Train has now been CANCELED! Weather bug says 100% chance of rain Saturday morning both here and in Jefferson, TX so the roads may still be wet even if it stops early Saturday afternoon. Coming home in the dark it would not be good to hit any potential water puddles. So for SAFETY SAKE we regretfully have cancelled this ride.

Join us on Saturday, October 24 for an afternoon ride to Jefferson, TX for dinner & a ride on the Fright Train. We will meet at the Bossier City Harley-Davidson Dealer at 3:00 with KSU at 3:30. We will take a "scenic" route over to Jefferson and arrive in enough time to have dinner and then catch the 7:30 pm Fright Train. The cost to ride the train is $16.50 per person and if we have a large enough group there will be a discount. The train ride is approximately 45 minutes. Contact Lisa Delaney at 318-294-2292 if you didn't sign up at the Chapter Meeting and want to reserve a train ticket. We will take the main roads home. There are several ways to join in the fun....ride with us or meet us in Jefferson in your car if you prefer not to ride home after dark.

Saturday, October 17, 2015 - RWTN Motorcycle Event (Escorted Ride, Scavenger hunt type poker run, food, music, vendors, and more!) $35 Registration fee includes Breakfast, T-Shirt, Escorted Ride, Lunch and access to vendors, auction (silent & live), music and more. All proceeds benefit children's health in our local area. Online auction opens early Sept. more information to come.
Red River District Downtown Shreveport.
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17th.

It is with a sad heart that I write this: Fellow rider and HOG member Archie Fleming passed away earlier this week. Both he and his daughter, Ginger Fleming-Randolph, have been part of the HOG family and Ginger asked that his service information get out to the HOG Chapter. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25th from 5-7 pm and the service will be Thursday, March 26th at 10:00 am. Both the visitation and service will be at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home at 601 US Highway 80 East, Haughton, LA.

DUCK COMMANDER INDEPENDENCE BOWL TAILGATING TIMESaturday, December 27th. The HOG Chapter will have the same location as in the past several years in the white lot. This is near the fence at the end of the fairground main strip just before you enter the stadium on the right. Look for the Harley Grill and HOG Chapter Flag. You will need to park outside the tailgating area and walk in. Bonnie will be cooking a BIG pot of Jambalaya. Feel free to bring whatever snack food,item for the grill and whatever beverage you may want. Miami Hurricanes & South Carolina Gamecocks will be playing this year and the game starts at 2:30 pm. Come down as early as you want and hang out before and during the game. If you have a lightweight portable chair bring it along…if not…there will be a few extra chairs.

Meet at 9:00 am KSU at 9:30 - Bring a toy for Boy or Girl - Items for all ages needed (infant to teenager) Wrapped or unwrapped. If wrapped, please put age & gender information on a tag. We will ride together as a group over to Shriner's Hospital and visit with the children. They love to see the motorcycles and visit with us.
Let's give these kids some LOVE!
