We are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to animals in need in Watauga County, NC. Our shelter is located at 312 Paws Way, Boone, NC 28607, just off the intersection of Old 421 and Don Hayes Road. We have facilities for the housing and care of stray dogs, cats, and small animals. We provide food, shelter, medical care, and lots of love to all our animals

SUCCESS STORY SUNDAY🤩:

We were able to get some of the cutest pictures of both Ghost👻(WHS names: Snap) and Spider🕷️ (WHS name: Miscellaneous) from their sweet owners to show how well they are doing in their furrrever home with their parents Rea and Zach.

Ghost is now 3 years old and loves cuddles, watching birds, and treats. He and his baby sister, Spider, zoom about and play all day. He is the sweetest most goofy boy. While Spider is made of “pure chaos” since she’s still a kitten, she’s usually found chasing, climbing, or loving on her humans and brother.

✨Fun Fact✨: Ghost and Spider have both made cameo’s in their owner’s Novel!!

We’re so happy to see them so loved and cared for! Their story, and many like theirs is why we do what we do. 🐾❤️

5 year-old Krispy 🍩 has been adoptable for quite some time now. She’s currently in a foster home, and is doing wonderfully! Her rotund-ness makes her just that much more to love.
