Lenny aspires to be Jasper from Twilight. He even took it far enough to look like him. Sometimes we catch him shimmering in the sun, and he has vampire features. 🧛🏼
Lenny is only 11-months-old and LOVES to play with his friends outside.⛰️ He is a true dog-lover. 🐾While we recommend a childless home, Lenny would do amazingly in a home wi the another pup. He loves to be pet and begs for attention. Lenny could cheer you up everyday with his silly faces because trust us, he continuously makes them. 🤪

🌟Lenny is being sponsored by Joyce Ogburn this month. THANK YOU for your sponsorship of this interesting guy.🌟 Sponsorships help us help them. ❤️

❤️ We had a WONDERFUL turnout to our free and low-cost vaccine clinic on Monday with the help of Petco Love, Dr. Watson, and our staff! 70 PETS in the High Country were given updated vaccinations to help them protect themselves and others! ❤️
We’re so proud to be able to help our community with pet vaccines, and we’re grateful for the help we receive and need every day. 🐾 We’re looking forward to continuing this program so all pets have access to the things they need to stay healthy. 💉

🪃Meet Boonerang- a handsome, playful, fun-loving boy🪃
At just 2-years-old, Boonerang LOVES playing with other dogs (especially his best bud, Lenny), gently taking treats from you, and curling up in a ball to sleep. 🐾 He is irresistibly adorable, and would make a great addition to the right home. 🧡
We’re hosting a $10 adoption special where you could adopt Boonerang or one of his buddies! Come visit this special dude anytime between 12:30pm & 5:00pm Tuesday-Saturday! 🐾

Thank you Tito's Handmade Vodka for sponsoring our Second Chance Classic Golf Tournament! ⛳️

The Tournament is made possible by sponsors such as Tito’s! We are so excited to spend October 19th with members of our community who are giving back to the animals that depend on Watauga Humane Society through a round of golf. 🏌🏻‍♀️

Not only will there be plenty of play, but we’re hosting a reception afterwards as well! Registration to play is still open, but not for long! We hope to see you there! 🐾 Visit wataugahumane.org/golf (link in bio) to register or learn more.

What an effective way to help prevent rabies from spreading in wildlife which leads to less risk if your pet gets bitten by a wild animal! One way that we’re combatting increased rabies risk is by offering another vaccine clinic on Monday, October 12th from 11am to 2pm! We’re offering free DAPPv canine and HCP feline vaccines and low cost Rabies vaccines ($12) and microchipping ($15)!! If your pet needs updated shots, this is a great way to do it!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and North Carolina health agencies will distribute over 2.4 million oral rabies vaccine baits across parts of western North Carolina and nearby states this October to prevent the spread of raccoon rabies among wildlife.
