Just a little reminder from Force for Good Appalachia 💚

Our Children’s Clothing Swap will be held Friday, June 6 from 11 AM–2 PM at the Masonic Lodge behind Goodwill in Boone, North Carolina.

I have officially collected all of the donations I’m able to collect ahead of time, but if you’d still like to participate, you are absolutely welcome to bring items to swap the day of the event!

We’re excited to gather together, help families, reduce waste, and keep building community in the High Country one kind gesture at a time. 🫶

We’re in the final push for our Summer Grab & Go—and more than anything, this is about our community showing up for our kids.

The ones who sit in classrooms together, play on the same fields, grow up in these mountains we love. This is us making sure they head into summer feeling supported, included, and cared for—by all of us.

If you’ve been meaning to donate, this is your moment.

Force for Good Appalachia is rooted in a simple idea: neighbors showing up for neighbors. What started as a small effort to share resources has grown into a beautiful network of people who believe in community over charity—where giving and receiving happen with dignity, kindness, and connection.

Thank you so much for your patience while I’ve been collecting and organizing donations behind the scenes. And truly, thank you to all of the incredible people who have reached out wanting to give—your generosity is what keeps this going. It means more than you know.
