Since Hurricane Helene in 2024, State Line has been working tirelessly to assist in the recovery and resilience of our communities in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Over the course of the past few years, we have provided over $250,000 worth of aid to Hurricane Helene survivors across impacted areas.

We have officially wrapped phase 1 of Brittany’s Fund that we started with Mountain Mermaids in November of 2024, getting $150,000 into the hands of survivors over 76 rebuilding projects across impacted areas.

Our North Carolina Building Supply Initiative, with funds provided by the NCCF, provided us with the ability to provide $75,000 worth of building materials across 23 rebuilding projects to survivors in North Carolina since the beginning of March across 6 impacted counties.

Our Tennessee Building Supply Initiative, with funds graciously provided by People in Partnership, allowed for us to provide $26,000 worth of building materials to survivors in Johnson County, TN across 11 rebuilding projects.

As we wind down the funds in these programs, we are actively applying for funding and raising money to continue to be able to assist our neighbors with their recovery. This is not a sprint, it is a marathon. Even two years in, we are coming across community members that have not been able to have clean drinking water or a safe place to live.

As we approach 2 years since Hurricane Helene, we here at Stateline want to express our gratitude towards all of the individuals, organizations, and businesses that have supported us and our community as we rebuild.

We have run down the funds for the first phase of our Brittany's Fund Grant, getting over $150,000 into the hands of survivors! At this point in our recovery, the need is still great, and we need YOUR help to continue to get survivors the help that they need. This is the launch of our fundraising drive and we'd like to raise the full amount before the 2 year anniversary!

Let's keep up the work and keep up the momentum!
