South Middleton Soccer Association (SMSA) The purpose of the SMSA is to provide an opportunity for area youth to have fun playing soccer, developing their skills, and practicing sportsmanship.

SMSA is a soccer association located in South Central PA. We offer a recreational soccer program and Travel teams that participate in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League (CPYSL). Our Goal is to help develop self-confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork in our local youth along with their physical growth by using the game of soccer.

Registration for our SMSA YDP Fall Program is now OPEN!

Come join the fun and experience all the excitement that the SMSA Youth Development Program has to offer. We have divisions available for U4, U6, and U8 players, providing a great environment for young athletes to learn, grow, develop their soccer skills, and build a love for the game.

Registration is easy! You can sign up directly through our website or simply scan the QR code to get started.

⏰ Registration closes on August 3, 2026, so don't wait to secure your spot for another exciting season of soccer!

⚽️What an amazing day for soccer! Once again, it did not disappoint!⚽️

The 2nd Annual Spring Showdown Classic certainly lived up to its name. The Thunder and Tornados battled it out in an exciting match for 3rd and 4th place, while the Storm and Lightning faced off in a thrilling championship game.

Every player left it all on the field, showcasing the hard work and dedication they put in throughout the season. A huge credit goes to our coaches as well, who did an incredible job preparing their teams and helping these young athletes grow both on and off the field.

When the final whistle blew, the Lightning claimed the championship and took home 1st place, followed by the Storm in 2nd. The Thunder earned 3rd place, and the Tornados finished 4th.

While the standings tell one story, the real victory was seeing these players compete, improve, and have fun. Everyone was a winner today, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them!

Congratulations to all of our teams on a fantastic season and an unforgettable tournament!

The fields are ready, the weather is perfect, and the excitement is building for the **2nd Annual SMSA YDP Spring Showdown Classic!** ⚽🏆

Our players have worked incredibly hard all season, and now it's time for them to take the field and compete for bragging rights. We can't wait to see the Storm, Thunder, Lightning, and Tornados battle it out!

Suzy Q's is on site, and 🧇 Belgium Waffles is ready to serve up some amazing food throughout the morning.

And that’s a wrap on the U4 & U6 Spring SMSA YDP season! ⚽🎉

Our youngest players learned so much this spring, and none of it would have been possible without the dedication and support of our amazing coaches. Their time, energy, and passion helped make this season such a success for these kids!

What better way to finish the season than with our always-fun Kids vs. Parents games followed by a cool treat from Kona Ice! 🍧 The smiles, laughter, and memories made were the perfect ending to a fantastic season.

The moment these players have been working toward all season is almost here… the 2nd Annual SMSA YDP Spring Showdown Classic is THIS SATURDAY! 🏆

Join us at Leaman Fields behind South Middleton Park from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for an action-packed morning full of soccer, excitement, competition, and fun! These kids have worked incredibly hard all season long, and now it’s time to see who will battle their way to the top! 💪⚡

Whew! The U8 Rec season is almost over, and we’re heading into the final week with one of the players’ favorite traditions — the Parents vs. Kids Soccer Game! ⚽🔥

These kids came ready to play and were determined to take down their parents on the field! This is something they look forward to every single season, and it never disappoints. The laughs, competition, and memories made are what youth soccer is all about!

After the games, players, coaches & Families got the chance to cool down with some delicious Kona Ice 🍧 — a perfect treat for a fun-filled evening! A huge thank you to Kona Ice for coming out and helping make the night even more special.

We also want to give a HUGE shoutout to our U8 sponsor, Lebo's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for their support throughout the season. We truly appreciate everything you do for our players and program!
