📍 Boca Raton, FL Through its various programs, BHH assists over 27,000 people annually.
· Hot Meals Program: A hot, nutritious meal can be picked up Monday- Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at our main facility i
n East Boca and Fridays from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm in Lake Worth on a drive-thru basis. Hot meals are also available for delivery to qualified homebound people during the week.
· Pantry Bag Program: Qualifying Palm Beach County residents can enroll to receive pantry bags of groceries. BHH has five distribution locations between Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Lake Worth.
· BHH Backpacks: Weekend meals are sent home with local schoolchildren, who are on the free or reduced lunch program. This program reaches over 1,500 students in 12 elementary schools.
· Financial Assistance: Offers referrals and limited financial assistance to qualifying Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, and Delray Beach residents in crisis.
· Children's Assistance Program (CAP): CAP helps working parents by providing limited financial assistance for summer camp, after-school care, and daycare for qualifying Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, and Delray Beach residents of 1 year or longer.
· Healthcare Vouchers: Medical, dental, and behavioral care vouchers are available to qualifying uninsured Palm Beach County residents at partner healthcare providers.
· Professional Development Classes: Free health and wellness, financial management, and ESOL classes are available and open to Palm Beach County residents.
· Job Training Program (JTP): For qualified applicants seeking new careers, BHH offers full scholarships to 11 Job Training programs. BHH partners with various accredited schools to provide students with industry-approved certifications and hands-on training.
