My name is Trudy Downes, and I am the Founder of Blessing Blankets Made with Love (BBMWL).

BBMWL is a small 501(c)3 nonprofit based in South Florida that started in 2019, making blankets and toys for area fosters and the Humane Society’s. We have since expanded our efforts to include donations to Veterans in hospitals, children with cancer at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital as well as the homeless and u***d mother locations.

We are currently in desperate need of donations and/or corporate sponsors to sustain our operations as material and supply costs continue to rise. Our organization has groups in Lake Worth and Palm City as well as working closely with local high schools to provide students with the opportunity to make blankets and toys for community service hours.

If there is any way you can help us spread the word about our organization it would be greatly appreciated.

I am pleased to inform you that Blessing Blankets Made with Love has recently partnered with Chasin A Dream Foundation.

Chasin A Dream Foundation provides direct assistance to families of children facing life-threatening illnesses and disabilities in our local community.

Our group has already donated several blankets to the patients and will continue to do so as needed.
