Our sole purpose is to provide properly-trained Service Dogs to assist our Military Veterans with their psychological and physical injuries. Our Board is made up of unpaid Volunteers including two liberated Prisoners of War (one from World War II and the other from Vietnam); a retired Air Force Major General (two stars); a retired Navy Aircraft Carrier Captain; ex-military Airline Pilots; an award
-winning filmmaker; a motivational speaker who sustained multiple physical and psychological injuries in a refinery explosion; the retired CEO of a large industrial manufacturer; and a quality-control representative for a pharmaceutical-device manufacturer. These Board Members do their best to make sure that we identify the best training facilities around the USA to produce Service Dogs that really address the needs of each Veteran with whom they have been carefully matched. They also do their best to educate the public, and especially Veterans who may not know that our service is available, to how Service Dogs can assist in the real world environment. We know that these dogs save lives, save families, and bring independence and dignity back to our Veterans.
