Amy is a kind and caring friend whose warm smile and joyful personality make everyone around her feel welcome and appreciated. She loves spending time with friends, visiting the Hilton Head Recreation Center, enjoying the outdoors, and making happy memories.

Amy also loves music and dancing! Her energy and fun-loving spirit shine when she hits the dance floor. With her caring heart, beautiful smile, and joyful personality, Amy has a special way of bringing happiness to those around her and making every moment a little brighter.

Have you ever wondered what a day at PEP looks like or why the opportunities our members have here matter so much?

Our Executive Director, Nancy T. Sulek, recently shared a little more about the heart behind PEP in The Bluffton Sun.

From learning new skills and building friendships to finding employment, gaining independence, and being active in the community, Nancy shares how PEP helps create opportunities for our members to learn, work, grow, and belong.

She also reflects on just how far PEP has come, from serving a handful of individuals in 1995 to about 90 adults across the Lowcountry today!

Paula has been volunteering at PEP for many years and is a seasoned member of our volunteer community. As a parent volunteer, she is always willing to step in and help wherever she is needed.

Paula is wonderful with our members and brings patience, encouragement, and kindness to every interaction. Whether she is lending a helping hand during an activity or simply offering support and encouragement, Paula is always ready to help make PEP a welcoming and positive place for everyone.

We are so grateful for Paula’s many years of dedication and the care she shows to our members and community. Thank you, Paula, for all that you do for PEP!

Join us Saturday, October 17 at 4:00 PM at the Golf Club at Indigo Run for an evening of delicious barbecue and fresh oysters, live entertainment, and Southern hospitality all while supporting the exceptional people we serve at PEP.

Every ticket helps PEP provide meaningful vocational, wellness, educational, and social opportunities for adults with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities in our community.
