Every season, we promise ourselves we won’t have to.
Every season, we hope someone will step forward before it comes to this.
But right now… we’re short on flag football coaches.
Not because our community doesn’t care.
But because sometimes everyone thinks, “Surely someone else will do it.”
Maybe that someone… is you. 🤍
You don’t have to be a football expert.
You don’t have to have played in college.
You don’t even have to know every rule.
You just have to be the adult who shows up...or the adult who shares this post or tags someone who’d make an awesome coach. 🙌
Our flag football kids are ready. Their shoes are lined up by the door. Their practice clothes are folded on dressers. They’ve been practicing plays in the backyard, dreaming about touchdowns, high-fives, and hearing someone call out their name from the sidelines.
Let’s make sure every team takes the field this spring without missing a single practice.
Be the one who ties a flag belt.
The one who kneels down and says, “Shake it off. You’ve got this.”
The one who turns nervous little faces into confident smiles.
These kids won’t remember the score years from now.
They’ll remember their coach.
They’ll remember the way you believed in them.
We hate asking.
But we love these kids more than our pride.
