It is going to be a hot one today...🔥🔥
Hot weather can be dangerous for our pets.

Make sure cats and dogs have:
đź’¦Plenty of fresh water
⛱️ Access to shade or air conditioning
...and never leave them in a parked car- even for a few minutes.

If it's too hot for your hand on the pavement, it's too hot for their paws.

Stay safe and cool today!

Effective immediately, the PSPCA's Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (located adjacent to the PSPCA Adoption Center in Danville) is available to Approved PA PETS Pets Program clients in addition to our two current Participating Vet Clinics: Animal Care Center (ACC) and Caring Hands Animal Clinic (CHAH) - both in Danville.

To qualify for financial assistance from the PA PETS Pets Program, applicants must meet the following criteria and submit their application and copayment to the address on the application form.

PA PETS Pays the following amounts toward our Approved Pets Program's (owned) dogs and cats for S/N surgeries at all 3 participating vet clinics:
$125 - for BOTH male and female cats
$150 - for Male Dogs
$200 - for Female Dogs
Note: The PSPCA clinic cannot accept dogs over 70 lbs for S/N surgery procedures, but Animal Care Center (ACC) and Caring Hands Animal Clinic (CHAH) are available for larger pet dogs' S/N surgeries.

Criteria include:
1. Total adjusted gross income for the entire household of $40,000/year or less.
2. Residency in Columbia our Montour Counties (PA PETS Pets Program's service area),
3. Payment of the PA PETS copayment amounts ($5, $10, $15 per animal - depending on income level), along with the submitted application form.
Spaying and neutering not only prevents unwanted litters and reduces behavioral issues like marking and roaming, it improves your pets overall health and increases their lifespan! đź’ś
