This is Genevieve. She has had the same rare Leukemia Christian had. Her mother, Liesel, and I would keep in contact through treatment and still do. They donate every year to the foundation because Genevieve is benefiting from the research Dr. Mulligan is doing. We are so happy for their family and to see how well Genevieve is doing ! We can’t stop til every child survives high risk childhood cancers! See Genevieve’s story below :

Diagnosed 7/2017, near haploid hypodiploid. Finished treatment 11/2019.
Relapsed 2/2021
Did Car-T, early b cell return
Did HuCart, early b cell return
BMT in January 2022 - her big sister was a perfect match donor but terrible side effects, life threatening levels of skin GVHD, gut GVHD, TMA and a series of issues that sent her to PICU on a vent 2x, but the 2nd time in March 2023 was really bad - suspected fungal, sepsis (Matthew Scheuler connected us to Dr Walsh by the way to consult with us.) And then just over a year after BMT, things just seemed to resolve 🙏She started getting better, side effects started improving, she was able to start school the following fall, each month she gets stronger and stronger. We are so grateful (really no words to express it) for the work you are doing thru Christian's foundation to support research for hypodiploid and to find cures.
