Yin is still waiting for someone to notice him. 🖤

And judging by these photos, he’s doing just about everything he can to get your attention. 😂🐾

Yin has been with us for far too long, watching other cats come and go while he continues to wait for his own turn. Behind those gorgeous golden eyes is a handsome boy who deserves to know what it feels like to finally be chosen.

He doesn’t need anything fancy, just a family to call his own, a comfy place to stretch out, and someone who appreciates his talent for showing off ALL the toe beans. 😂🫘

Everest is confused…and honestly, so are we. 😵‍💫💙

At our last adoption event, everyone LOVED Everest. She soaked up the attention, collected compliments left and right, and had several people tell us how interested they were in her. We really thought, “This is it. Someone is going to apply for her.”

But the event ended, the days passed… and Everest is still here. Not one pre-approval form is waiting for her. 💔

Everest is an estimated 2-year-old Husky with those ridiculously beautiful blue eyes and a personality that makes people fall in love with her wherever she goes. She’s active, fun, affectionate, and has even been making lots of canine friends while at ARC. 🐾

She has plenty of admirers but what she really needs is one person who turns “I love her!” into “I want to bring her home.” Maybe that person is you. 🏠 💕

Milo is still waiting for someone to choose him. 💔

Milo has one simple request for his forever home: he wants to be your one and only.

He LOVES people. He loves attention, companionship, going for walks, and simply being with his humans. But when it comes to other animals, Milo doesn’t want to share his home or his people, so he needs to be the only pet in the household.

We know that requirement makes his search a little harder. There are so many homes that already have a dog or cat, and each time Milo gets passed by, he keeps waiting.

But Milo doesn’t know his perfect home is harder to find. He just knows that every day, he wakes up at the shelter instead of in a home of his own. 🥺

Somewhere out there is someone who isn’t looking for a second dog. Someone who doesn’t have cats. Someone who has an empty spot beside them on the couch and enough love for one very deserving boy.

MEET SPIKE! 🖤

Spike is one of those dogs who is a bit of a hot mess inside the shelter and we say that with love. 😅 Shelter life is hard on him. He struggles with anxiety, gets overwhelmed easily, and just isn’t able to show his best self in this environment.

Spike came to ARC as a stray after being found running for at least a week with two other dogs. Because of that, we really don’t know what his life looked like before he came through our doors. He’s estimated to be around 2 years old, and whatever his past may have been, we know he deserves someone willing to give him the chance to succeed.

Spike was adopted once before but unfortunately returned due to separation anxiety. His ideal adopter would be someone who understands separation anxiety or is willing to learn and can provide him with the patience, consistency, structure, and training he needs. He isn’t a dog who is going to walk into a home and immediately have everything figured out. He’s going to need someone willing to work with him. ❤️‍🩹

🐱 Spike cannot be placed in a home with cats.

There is a good dog underneath all that shelter anxiety. Spike just needs the right person to look beyond the behaviors caused by stress and see his potential. He needs someone who won’t expect perfection, but who will give him the time and guidance to learn that he’s safe and that his home is truly his home.

It’s the weekend and Dante is ready to have some FUN! 🐾 🎾

Dante has his ball, his goofy faces and plenty of energy, now he’s just missing one thing… a family to enjoy the weekends with! 💙

Whether it’s playing with his favorite toys, getting outside for some fresh air, or spending time with his favorite people, Dante is always ready to make the most of his day.
