The Bloomsburg Legion Auxiliary Unit 273 held a pizza party for the essay winners on Weds., March 25th at the Club.

Good morning Everyone,
We have been getting numerous calls and emails concerning renewal notices for dues. The notices come from National, not the individual Unit, and were automatically generated and sent to every member regardless of previously received payments. We apologize for any confusion and the inconvenience, but if you have paid and already received your 2026 card, please do not remit another payment for your dues. The Bloomsburg American Legion Auxiliary Unit 273 has distributed information to local schools for its annual Poppy Poster Contest. Grades 2 through 12 are eligible to participate, and the deadline is February 27, 2026. Posters must be on 11" by 14" poster board and contain the words American Legion Auxiliary. They must include a red poppy and a fitting slogan not exceeding 10 words. Watercolors, crayons, powder or oil paint, handmade paper cutouts, ink or textures, acrylics, pencils, and markers may be used. Name, age, address, and grade must be on the back of the poster in ink.

We need one or two people to work at our Auxiliary stand at Winterfest on Friday from 3 to 6pm.
