Our philosophy enables each child to gain self-esteem, confidence, skills, independence and self-discipline while having fun learning.

Our preschool is licensed to serve 20 children per class with a staff/child ratio of 1:10. Our staff is certified in early childhood education by the Department of Human Services. Teachers are able to give attention to each individual child and to encourage him/her to develop responsibility, to learn to think and act independently, and to be considerate of others. Conferences with parents are scheduled twice yearly.

Whew it’s been a busy couple of weeks! Feeling grateful for the families that trust us to do what feels most important, my amazing assistant, Sarah, who goes with the flow, listens to alllll the things I need to say and meets the kids (and me) with love and grace. We are so excited for our growing program!! Peep 👀 a few things we did the last two weeks with our kiddos!

Not only did we survive, we thrived! Amazing first day at St Luke’s! Are we tired? YES…but we are filled with joy that we get to do this job.

We are working on learning so many things at school…how to take care of our things, how to wash our hands, how to play and clean up, how to walk in a line…but the most important things are learning our friends’ names and creating a loving, kind community where all know they belong. We are on our way! Can’t wait for day 2!

T’was the night before school and we teachers are set…
Supplies and toys organized well, you can bet.
The room is labeled and cleaned up with care,
While excitement bubbles, waiting for kids to be there.

Can not wait to see you all! Enjoy the book and get some rest! Tomorrow will be busy.
Love, Ms. Candi, Ms. Sarah, and Ms. Barb

Affirmations- a strong foundation of our program! We believe these things without a doubt and will provide opportunities for every child to grow in their confidence, rise up to challenges, foster healthy relationships and develop a life long love of learning! 💕
