Indian Mounds students enjoyed giving back to the Knights of Columbus for purchasing our new school tee shirts this year by handing out candy this morning at the Memorial parade.

Tonight is our favorite event! The Carnival AND Bingo from 6-8pm. We have tons of games, prizes, an inflatable obstacle course and giant slide! An ice cream truck will be available for cash/card purchase. Concessions will be available in the gym (Cash only please). Bingo will be held in the cafeteria. Games will be outside and in the gym. Inflatables will be outside on the grass (Weather permitting). Each child will receive 5 free game tickets upon arrival. Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 for 20 tickets or .25 cents. Unlimited inflatable wristband can be purchased for $5 at concessions. Let’s hope for no rain this year and have some fun!

ATTENTION 5th GRADE PARENTS

Hello 5th grade families! Can you believe we are already planning 5th grade graduation? It feels like yesterday we were setting up our kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms for their first day of kindergarten with their very first Chromebook and E-learning experience. We are planning a fun slide show this year highlighting our students growth from beginning to end of their elementary career. We are asking families to submit their student’s kindergarten photos at your earliest convenience and no later than Friday May 22nd. We know that our students began Kindergarten in a very unconventional way and many were unable to get in person photos done so please feel free to submit any photo of your choosing from this time period. It is important that we receive a photo for every student. Please email photos to [email protected] if you are unable to send a digital photo please send a photo to school and give to it your teacher. Be sure to include your student’s name.

Congratulations to the class of 2033! We are looking forward to our graduation ceremony on June 5th.

Teacher Appreciation week is next week! We have put together a sign up sheet to treat our Indian Mounds staff to a trail mix bar. Please sign up to bring an item on the list. Items can either be dropped off in the office or sent to school with your student(s).

We are so thankful and extremely appreciative of Martin Luther Campus for their continued partnership with Indian Mounds! We were able to deliver 170lbs of items to VEAP during our district wide food drive. We couldn’t do it without them. Thank you to everyone who donated!
