5 Stars for Kohl’s Depew & Orchard Park! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A huge thank you to the incredible teams at Kohl's Depew and Orchard Park for helping WNY Foster Closet secure amazing clearance deals for children in foster and kinship care.

Our purchases were large, and every cashier, manager, and floor associate we encountered was patient, kind, and eager to help. Your teamwork, efficiency, and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire process smooth from start to finish.

Because of your support, we were able to stretch every donated dollar further and provide even more clothing, toys, shoes, baby items, and essentials to local children who need them most.

Special thanks to everyone who helped behind the scenes and on the sales floor. Not pictured are Christine, Chris, Kayla, Kelly and Patricia, whose assistance was beyond appreciated !

June shopping hours.

❤️We are accepting SUMMER clothing. Please do not leave donations at our gate if we are not open.

❤️We updated our systems. If you did NOT shop with us in 2025, your file was purged and you will need to re-certify with us. We will NOT be granting any exceptions. You will be treated as a NEW file, and will need to bring:

❤️Foster Parent Placement paperwork that MUST be dated within the last 6 months. If you do NOT have the placement paper dated from the last 6 months, you will need to request an updated letter from your caseworker on agency letter head confirming placement.

❤️1017/Article 6/Kinship: Must bring court order PLUS your ID.

Please remember that everyone working shifts are volunteering their time for you. We ask that while shopping you help keep us nest and organized. Thank you for understanding and don’t forget to thank the volunteers you see.

Ho ho ho! Santa and Mrs. Claus don’t just deliver toys. Today, their sleigh arrived alongside an Amazon elf helper loaded with boxes and boxes of pull-ups for the children and families we serve.

Their hearts for helping kids and supporting families were evident in every package delivered today. What’s pictured here is only about half of the generous donation they sent our way.

We are so grateful for their kindness and the difference they are making in our community.

Today we were incredibly blessed by Patty, who stopped by with 40 beautiful handmade quilts for the children we serve. Each quilt was lovingly crafted to bring comfort, warmth, and love to a child in care.

Patty first heard about the Closet through one of our shoppers who are raising their grandchildren. In memory of their beautiful daughter, Lindsay, Patty created these treasured quilts with so much care and meaning behind every stitch.

To make this donation even more special, Patty traveled all the way from Florida and personally brought the quilts with her. We are truly touched by her kindness, generosity, and the love woven into each and every quilt.
