October and November shopping hours.

⭐️⭐️⭐️WE MAY HAVE TO CLOSE A FEW DAYS IN OCTOBER DUE TO SOME REMODELING SO PLEASE WATCH FOR UPDATES. WE WILL POST THEM AS SOON AS WE KNOW. THESE WILL BE DAYS THAT CURRENTLY SAYS WE ARE OPEN BUT WITH WORKING WITH CONTRACTOR SCHEDULES, WE MAY HAVE TO CLOSE ON A FEW OPEN DATES.

❤️We are in need of baby and kids winter clothing, along with just hoodies and sweats for teens. We always need winter snow pants and boots for kids and teens. Please do not leave donations at our gate if we are not open.

❤️We updated our systems. If you did NOT shop with us in 2025, your file was purged and you will need to re-certify with us. We will NOT be granting any exceptions. You will be treated as a NEW file, and will need to bring:

❤️Foster Parent Placement paperwork that MUST be dated within the last 12 months. If you do NOT have the placement paper dated from the last 12 months, you will need to request an updated letter from your caseworker on agency letter head confirming placement.

❤️1017/Article 6/Kinship: Must bring court order PLUS your ID.

Please remember that everyone working shifts are volunteering their time for you. We ask that while shopping you help keep us nest and organized. Thank you for understanding and don’t forget to thank the volunteers you see.

✨ What an amazing day at the WNY Foster Closet! ✨

We’re excited to share some incredible improvements made possible by generous community partners.

California Closets Buffalo completely transformed both of our teen rooms. Where flimsy Z-racks and crowded counters once stood, we now have beautiful, thoughtfully designed closet organizers. These spaces are more organized, welcoming, and comfortable for our teens to shop.

We hope these updated rooms help every young person feel valued and special during their visit. Every child deserves a shopping experience that feels positive and dignified, and this transformation will make a meaningful difference.

California Closets also installed additional closet space at our storage location, giving us much-needed room to organize supplies and keep everything accessible. This generous gift will benefit the Closet and the families we serve for years to come.

A heartfelt thank-you to California Closets of Williamsville for making this vision a reality. Our designer, Becca Williams, was wonderful to work with, and we’re so grateful for her kindness, expertise, and dedication.

We also couldn’t have completed this project without two other incredible community partners:

🛠️ Heritage Contracting Of WNY removed the old sinks and counters, helping prepare the rooms for their beautiful transformation.

To all three businesses, thank you for your generosity, hard work, and commitment to supporting children and families in our community. Your willingness to share your time and talents is a wonderful example of what community can accomplish when we work together.
