Kidney Foundation of Western New York Dedicated to increasing awareness and improving the lives of those with kidney disease.

Our service area includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties. In the community, the foundation works to:
• raise awareness of kidney disease;
• increase knowledge of risk factors, and;
• provide information on prevention and treatment. For people with kidney disease, we:
• provide support and advocacy;
• offer information on health care options, and;
• assist with emergency financial, nutritional or transportation needs.

Why do we support this critical cause?

Your kidneys and eyes are more connected than you might think, largely because both depend on networks of very small, delicate blood vessels. Kidney disease can damage those vessels throughout the body, including in the retina at the back of the eye.

Conditions that damage those vessels, especially high blood pressure and diabetes, can affect your organs, which is why kidney health and eye health often go hand in hand.

We are proud to stand beside our partners at the Kidney Foundation to promote more resources and support for those impacted by kidney disease and other related conditions.

- Event is located at Lakeside Lawn of the Buffalo Outer Harbor.
