June is Uterine Cancer Awareness Month.Did you know that uterine (endometrial) cancer is the most common gynecologic cancer in the United States?

Many women are unaware of the warning signs, yet early detection can make a significant difference.

One common symptom is abnormal vaginal bleeding, including bleeding after menopause, bleeding between periods, or unusual discharge. Other symptoms may include pelvic pain or pressure, unexplained weight loss, pain during in*******se, and changes in urinary habits.

There is currently no routine screening test for uterine cancer, which makes understanding the symptoms so important.

Knowledge saves lives. Learn about the signs, share the information, and help raise awareness this month.

✨ Exciting news! ✨
We’re honored to share that the Ovarian Cancer Project has been awarded funding for our Souped Up Program through the generous support of the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation.

Thanks to this grant, we can continue delivering comforting soups and care totes to gynecologic cancer patients throughout our community — providing nourishment, encouragement, and support during treatment and recovery.

We are deeply grateful to the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation for investing in education, awareness, support, and hope for those facing gynecologic cancers. 💙

THANK YOU! 💙 Because of your incredible generosity and support, the Ovarian Cancer Project’s 14th Annual Geranium Sale reached our goal, raising more than $65,000!

Every geranium purchased and every donation made helped empower gynecologic cancer survivors and families through education, awareness, and support services across our community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this year’s sale, including our volunteers, sponsors, pick-up locations, and loyal supporters who continue to make this fundraiser such a success year after year.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Ovarian Cancer Project annual Geranium Sale! Your purchase helps fund education about the Symptoms and Risk Factors of Gynecologic Cancer and provides supportive services for survivors and their families.

GERANIUM PICK-UP IS THIS SATURDAY! 🌸

Pick-Up Date & Time:
Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Pickup locations are listed in the graphic in this post.

Due to logistics and the continued growth of our fundraiser, we are no longer able to hold or deliver orders. If you cannot attend, please arrange for a friend, neighbor, or coworker to pick up your order during the scheduled pick-up time.

Any leftover geraniums will be donated to a local charity.
