Also an update - we believe Daffney may only be about 6 years old. With the wonderful care she is getting from her policeman, she is doing very well. We all hope to find her a wonderful home.
Our beautiful Daffney
Sweet Daffney found her savior in a local retired policeman. He kept an eye out for her and took her in to help her feel better. When he realized she needed more help, he brought her to Ten Lives Club and asked us to take care of her and check her bloodwork. We think Daffney is about 10 years old. Take a look at the last picture below to see where she was before.
Over time, she gained weight and all of her fur grew back. She does not like cages, other cats near her or young children. Daffney loves people. She makes instant friends with any woman she meets. She is good with men too, but takes a little longer to warm up to them. She really loves her policeman who would love to keep her if he didn't already have other cats that she does not want to join in with.
Daffney would really like to meet a special someone who would play with her and knows that cardboard paper towel rolls and wand toys are her favorite things. She is definitive about what she wants and how but also sweet and amazing. Daffney is on medication to keep her from over cleaning her fur. We do not know if she will still need that when she is settled in a permanent situation.
Daffney needs some dental work done, but Ten Lives Club will pay for that even after she is adopted. She is hoping to meet someone who would like to take her to her furever home.
