Our time in DC this past Friday, September 25th, was a very productive time together in the Lord!! We saw some long-time friends and made several new ones. π€ For starters, our guest music minister, Anthony Williamson, led us in worship and Holy Spirit turned our hearts together toward our Creator God. π
Several new speakers joined us this year including Pastors Mark and Linda Pierce, Pastor Bob Barton, and Pastor Ora Rothfuss. Each shepherd communicated some powerful things that God has laid on their heart as well as shared their experiences in the field.
We were also thrilled to have among us the Vice-President of the National Day of Prayer, Dion Elmore. With him leading us we covered our country in prayer with an unparalleled fervor!! π₯
Jason Hershey, Steward of David's Tent, demonstrated to us the power of forgiving evils off the face of the earth. Our understanding was enlightened and we activated this powerful reality that day. We will see the fruit of this operative, guaranteed!! π―
Native America has truly stepped into a new era and All Tribes DC was leading at the helm. π¦
While we honor the past and those who have gone before us, paving the way, we also realize that God has brought us FORWARD into our fruitful season!! πΉ We now acknowledge our hurts, bitterness, and offense and we turn them over to Almighty God -- we drop them and LET THEM GO. We choose to operate in TRUE forgiveness of anyone and everyone who has done us harm as a people and as individuals. We release this forgiveness, knowing that God can now forgive US for OUR sins. Truly walking in this forgiveness means we are laying down the anger, contempt, grief, self-pity, despondency, etc. and are now walking into God's beautiful destiny for us as the host people of this land. He has given us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that we may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that HE may be glorified. (Isaiah 61:3) π
