South Community Church was founded on the inspiration that community is the lifeblood of human beings and it's a gift God has given us. Yeah we know it's not a new concept, just a concept we all have wired in our DNA. Jesus wanted community for us and we at South Church desire community for each and every one of you. That's every age group finding like minded and like hearted people to grow old wi

th. South Community Church will be extremely intentional about finding community for each person that comes through our doors. But not only that, we believe that within this community we’re challenged to live a Spirit filled life. How do we know? 1 John 3:24 says, “Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that He lives in us: We know it by the Spirit He gave us.” That’s why we’re so excited! The Savior Jesus gave us His Spirit to live a life that’s joyful and exhilarating, not routinely average. We believe that when Jesus ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit is what He left us. And all too often we don't live with that power, that wisdom, that guidance, and that comfort! It's time for us as God's children to rest on that belief and live with that power.

🍞 Seed & Faith Story 🍪

What started as sourdough bread, fudge, cookies, and macaroons became so much more.

Sarah and her daughters stepped out in faith through their Seed & Faith project — and along the way, God opened doors to meet neighbors they may have never met otherwise.

New conversations. New connections. New relationships.

What a beautiful reminder that when we say yes to sowing, God can use it for more than we imagine — not only impacting the future of our church’s children, but opening doors to begin doing life with new people.

SEED & FAITH TESTIMONY 🍹🙌

The Burton family chose to use what was in their hands — kombucha, creativity, and faith.

As they stepped out through their Seed & Faith project, they experienced the joy of seeing God multiply what they had to sow.

What a powerful reminder: when we trust God with our seed, He is able to do immeasurably more than we could imagine.

Through making and selling salsa, she’s not only sowing into our future kids building — she’s using it as an opportunity to have Gospel conversations and reach people who may not know Christ.

Because sometimes God uses the simple things to open the biggest doors.
