South Community Church was founded on the inspiration that community is the lifeblood of human beings and it's a gift God has given us. Yeah we know it's not a new concept, just a concept we all have wired in our DNA. Jesus wanted community for us and we at South Church desire community for each and every one of you. That's every age group finding like minded and like hearted people to grow old wi

th. South Community Church will be extremely intentional about finding community for each person that comes through our doors. But not only that, we believe that within this community we’re challenged to live a Spirit filled life. How do we know? 1 John 3:24 says, “Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that He lives in us: We know it by the Spirit He gave us.” That’s why we’re so excited! The Savior Jesus gave us His Spirit to live a life that’s joyful and exhilarating, not routinely average. We believe that when Jesus ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit is what He left us. And all too often we don't live with that power, that wisdom, that guidance, and that comfort! It's time for us as God's children to rest on that belief and live with that power.

We have the opportunity to bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus to our local nursing home!

On Friday, September 18th, we’ll spend time with residents, bring gifts and goods, pray with them, encourage them in their faith, and share the hope of the Gospel. 🙏✨

We want every person we meet to be reminded that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

There are no old problems with God. 🙌

This Sunday, we were reminded that what feels impossible to us is never impossible for God. He is faithful, He is still working, and He is still able to do what only He can do.

Miracles aren’t the destination—they are signposts that point us to Jesus. The question isn’t just, “Do I believe God can do the impossible?” but, “Am I willing to participate in what God is doing?”

We don’t want to simply observe what God can do. We want to participate in it—to step out in faith, trust His Word, and make room for Him to work in every area of our lives.

“For nothing will be impossible with God.” — Luke 1:37

So, will you invite God into the impossible? What area of your life are you willing to trust Him with today? ❤️‍🔥

Our time in Cametá, Brazil, is something we will carry with us forever. 🇧🇷

Thousands of people gathered to hear the Gospel, and we witnessed countless lives surrender to Jesus. We saw people healed, chains broken, and hearts set free. God brought deep conviction, challenged church leaders, and stirred something powerful throughout the city.

But God wasn’t only moving in Cametá—He was moving in us, too. He united our team with one purpose and reminded each of us that we had a reason to be there.

The people of Cametá welcomed us with open arms, and we witnessed God do a work that only He could do.

Cametá, we will never forget you. And we will never forget what God did here.

To God be all the glory.
