Zephyrus Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce our new corps director, Darin Williams.
A note from our new director:
Greetings!
It is with great esteem that I step in the role of Zephyrus Drum & Bugle Corps Director. Without the support I have received from loving family, supportive friends, and cherished colleagues I would not be ready to begin this exciting journey. Thanks to each of you for the part you played in helping me find my voice as a leader. I aspire to make each of you proud.
As we move forward into the 2027 season we are excited to continue work toward achieving our mission to “drive each member to discover their highest potential as artists, performers, and individuals.” At the core of Zephyrus we are comprised of world-class educators who not only have impressive resumes and a wealth of knowledge, but also a passion to teach and grow the marching arts activity. We strive for members to grow their skill, develop their work ethic, and strengthen their character during their journey at Z.
Our ultimate goal is creating and fostering a quality member experience. Members can look forward to a safe and nourishing environment where we work hard while also working together to build a culture of trust and compassion.
The marching arts community should keep an eye out for the talent and growth happening in Oklahoma. Each high school and independent program should be proud of their recent achievements and how they are continually challenging their students and simultaneously growing as educators. At Zephyrus we work to edify designers, directors, staff, marching members and advocates in our activity to help them feel supported and seen as we push forward in an ever-changing activity.
We encourage you to join us as we start the 2027 season. Remember, a single feather may fall to the ground, but as a team…TOGETHER WE FLY!
Go Z!
