This June, 28 kids in grades K–6 spent part of their summer in our shop. ☀️
With full safety gear and a lot of supervision, they got to see sparks fly, learn how tools work, and find out that building things is fun. Some of these kids will be our future welders, mechanics, and engineers.
We'd love to bring camp back bigger next summer. Comment below if your kiddo would want a spot!

Somebody’s taking this old coupe for a spooky spin! 💀🎃

Swing by and catch our Halloween car by the flagpole at Resurrected Rides. It’s best seen after dark, when the red lights are glowing and our skeleton driver is ready to roll.

A huge THANK YOU to Sally and Neal Indreland for donating this classic to Sweet Grass Technical Institute! Gifts like this give our students real, hands-on vehicles to learn on. ❤️🔧

And a big shout-out to the BTELA STEM afterschool kids, who came over and decorated it themselves. 🕷️

This summer, Sweet Grass Tech students took a late model race car to the track in Belgrade and Billings. 🏁
They learned car setup from the ground up, and how one small change to the chassis can change everything on the track. Measuring, adjusting, testing, doing it again. That's engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork, all before the green flag drops.

It's been a while since we posted, but we haven't been quiet in the shop. 🔥
In the past 10 months, Sweet Grass Tech has: • Taught students intro to welding, basic auto repair, and shop safety • Hosted a summer camp for 28 kids in grades K–6 • Raced a late model car in Belgrade and Billings
We're a local vocational program giving Sweet Grass County kids real, hands-on skills they can build a career on. Over the next few weeks, we'll show you what that looks like. Follow along, and if you believe in what we're doing, help us keep it going: https://givebutter.com/support-vocational-training-for-local-students-cqlpix
