While in Kenya last month, we spent a day at Lower Oloosekin school, a primary school that we partner with to provide education and school lunch. Three of the fifth grade girls wrote this poem and presented it to us. ♥️♥️♥️
Moments like these are always incredible. Seeing the change take place, children thriving, and the fruits of your prayers and support are a blessing indeed!

We dedicate this poem to Montana on a Mission.

The partners’ responsibility in Kenya
is to help, support, empower, and educate communities.
As Montana on a Mission you have perfectly fulfilled this purpose through the establishment
of Montana on a Mission.

You have freed our people
from the bo***ge of water shortage and poverty.

It’s become almost cliche’ but education is one of the most important factors in lasting change. Unsafe drinking water is responsible for more than 1,000,000 deaths each year. While our mission is to show people the love of Jesus and the Living Water available through Him. A. crucial piece of that goal is to continue to train the communities on how to use clean water and keep it safe. Being with these ladies during the health and hygiene training is one of our favorite parts of being in Kenya. They are hungry for knowledge and want to learn how to keep their families healthy.

Kenya update.
We have had a blessed first week and have seen God’s hand in so many situations. His plans, His timing and His protection. Beautiful people and landscapes.
We have been working in a completely new community that we were led to last year. Nkoirienito is “in the middle of nowhere, “as they say. The tourists don’t come here and the politicians don’t care. There isn’t a single borehole or clean water source for miles and miles. The community has several small seasonal springs that get them through a few months of the year but during the dry season they dig pits by hand up to 15 feet deep to reach water for their families and livestock.
Today we had our geologist come to test 4 locations on public land near a small primary school on a hill. We were blessed with a great result. It initially appears that we are very likely to get water at the school and able to pipe it downhill to villages below. This not only will provide the community with access to clean water but also greatly reduce the time and distance that the women and children have to walk to fetch water. 💦
Praise God!
