THANK YOU to those who responded to our call for help last week! We were able to have 15,000 liters of clean water delivered to the Nkoirienito community to help the most vulnerable residents get clean water for the week. We are planning to continue with water deliveries until the rain finally comes to the area or the well is successfully drilled and equipped- prayerfully in November. Would you help to keep the water flowing? Water IS life - and in this is case less than 2 cents for liter. 💧$100 can fill a 5000 liter tank, helping pregnant women, the disabled, the elderly, the sick and mothers who have recently given birth the water they and their families need to get through another week of crippling drought conditions. 💧 The need for clean water is urgent.
Extended drought in Kenya is forcing women and children to walk miles each day for water—climbing into dangerous hand dug holes up to 20 feet deep just to reach it.
God willing, we will drill a clean water well later this year. But families need water now.
We have purchased storage tanks and are raising funds to have clean water delivered for those most vulnerable—the elderly, pregnant women, people who are sick or disabled, and mothers who have recently given birth.

Uganda update 🇺🇬
Term 2 is finished, but learning continues!
Because these boys missed so much school during their time living on the streets, many are still working hard to catch up. During their three-week break, Pastor Moses has organized a focused tutoring program to help them do just that.
Monday through Saturday, four teachers work with the boys from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving them the extra support and encouragement they need. And when the schoolwork is done, they gather in the shade of a guava tree to share a hot meal together. ❤️
We are so grateful for everyone who makes this possible. You are helping provide education, nourishment, stability and hope—and reminding these young men that they are known, valued and deeply loved by God.
Thank you for being part of their story and helping us share the love of Christ in both word and action.

"We are glad to report that we had a very successful term Two, there was a general improvement in attendance, performance and behaviors. Thank you for your continued timely support.
We want in a special way appreciate you for supporting the boys to have holiday classes, they needed this very much to help improve in the main subjects which are English, math, science and social studies. The special treat of lunch after lessons before they go back home has surely made their holiday. The boys and their parents are very grateful."

Have you ever thought about going on a short term missions trip? Preparing well is critical to those traveling and the well being of those we interact with.

Days 5, 6 and 7 :: SMILES ALL AROUND!

🧑‍🌾Friday and Saturday were busy days with volunteers teaming up to serve community members through, painting, window washing, yard work, construction, repairs, compiling backpacks and school supplies, cleaning, taking loads of trash to the dump and more.

🍦Sunday was a day to kick back and celebrate another wonderful week of service with fellowship and ice cream sandwiches, sponsored by The Fort.
💕Thank you to everyone who has come together to spread the love in Sweet Grass county!!

👷A special thank you to Republic Services for accepting M.O.M. dump loads during the week of service free of charge!

☕️Another huge thank you to the volunteers from Melville Lutheran Church, Abiding Faith Fellowship, Sweet Grass Missions and Big Timber Evangelical  that made our breakfasts, Heritage Church ladies who served and cleaned up.

Day 4 Highlights
Day 4 :: Sharing Smiles, Helping Hands✨💛
Thursday of Homeward Bound 2026 was another day full of laughter, love, and the steady hands of hardworking volunteers. We are so grateful for everyone who has come together to share kindness and love in Sweet Grass County.

A huge thank you to the volunteers from Melville Lutheran Church, Sweet Grass Missions, Big Timber Evangelical and Abiding Faith Fellowship, that have made our breakfasts for the week, Heritage Church gals who served and cleaned up and for everyone that came through the door with the intention to love your neighbor.
