BTCFB is run 100% by VOLUNTEERS.
Did you know BTCFB has a person in charge of inventory? Our Purchasing Agent keeps a close eye on what is on our shelves. Using funds received from our donors, she shops locally for items that are not acquired through donations. She places orders from the Montana Food Bank Network. Those are delivered from Missoula every 6 weeks. She shops weekly for nutritious perishables to offer our clients, such as produce and dairy. Items she frequently needs to purchase are laundry detergent and dish soap. Consider these items for your next donation to the food bank! (We prefer smaller bottles, not the extra large jugs.)
