Riley ROCKS

At the age of six, Riley Fessenden was diagnosed with a rare nasal cancer. Riley remained smiley, positive and full of hope during her treatment.

Her spirit joined a community and inspired many. Riley passed away on July 20, 2016 at the age of nine. On May 22nd, 2013, Riley (age 6) was brought to her doctor's office with the following symptoms: runny nose, swollen glands and swollen left eye. After a CT Scan, MRI and a lot of testing at Boston Childrens Hospital, a malignant tumor was found in Riley's Nasal Cavity that also stretched into t

he Brain Cavity. After Riley's biopsy, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB). Riley lost her battle with cancer and passed away at the young age of nine on July 20, 2016.

It is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month🎗️Starting September 10, Riley’s family, friends, and supporters will come together in teams, each with a goal of raising $10,000 to honor 10 years since Riley passed and support the Riley Rocks Memorial Foundation, providing financial support to children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

Today marks 10 years since we said goodbye to our beautiful girl. She was with us for 9 incredible years, and now we’ve spent 10 years learning how to carry the impossible weight of living a life without her. Through the Riley Rocks Memorial Foundation, her legacy has touched the lives of more than 150 families and contributed over $250,000 toward family support, pediatric cancer research and programs that bring comfort and hope to children affected by cancer.
