Welcome to the Shore community Rebecca Myers!

Mrs. Myers joins us as our new Pre-K 2 Teacher, bringing a wealth of experience in literacy development, project-based learning, and helping students strengthen their reading and writing skills.

Mrs. Myers holds a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University and a master’s degree in literacy education from Hunter College. Prior to joining Shore, she served as a first-grade teacher, staff developer, and Orton-Gillingham tutor at the Advent School. These experiences have shaped her belief that every child is a strong, capable, and resilient learner.

Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys exploring nature, attending theater and sporting events, and savoring everyday moments with her family.

A warm Shore welcome to Kelly Lestage!

Mrs. Lestage joins us as our new Literacy Specialist, bringing more than 11 years of experience providing individualized reading support to students in the Manchester-Essex School District.

Mrs. Lestage holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Gordon College, a Moderate Special Education Licensure from the State of Massachusetts, and an Educational Specialist Degree in reading from Gordon College. She is passionate about helping every child find success with reading and values building strong partnerships with students, teachers, and families.

Outside of school, Kelly enjoys visiting National Parks with her family, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and being involved in her church community.

Welcome Katie Mathisen to the Shore community!

With several years of elementary education experience, Ms. Mathisen joins Shore’s Grade 3 teaching team. Originally from Massachusetts, she has taught both fourth and fifth grade in Massachusetts public schools and previously worked as a teaching apprentice in second and third grade at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School.

Ms. Mathisen holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in educational leadership & policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, as well as a master’s of education from Lesley University.

Ms. Mathisen is passionate about creating a supportive classroom where students can learn, grow, and build confidence. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys yoga, cooking, skiing, and reading.

A warm Shore welcome to Kevin Rodis!

Mr. Rodis joins us as our new Grade 4 Teacher, bringing more than nine years of experience working with elementary students. Throughout his career, Mr. Rodis has taught both third and fourth grade and is passionate about helping students grow as confident readers, writers, and active members of their classroom community.

Mr. Rodis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Framingham State University, a master’s degree in sport management from Lasell, and a master’s degree in elementary education from Cambridge College.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Rodis enjoys staying active through sports and pickleball, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants and places around the Boston area.

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Rodis to Shore and look forward to the experience, energy, and enthusiasm he will bring to our students.

We’re thrilled to welcome Suzu Ledoux to Shore!

Mrs. Ledoux joins us as our new Theater Arts Teacher, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a theatre artist and educator. Originally from Northumberland, England, Suzu holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre and arts education and a master’s degree in applied theatre.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Ledoux has taught and directed in a variety of communities, most recently teaching drama to K–4 students at a charter school in Rhode Island. She is passionate about helping students find and share their voices through diverse source materials and collaborative, cross-disciplinary work.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Ledoux enjoys gardening, exploring new playgrounds with her family, and, ideally, reading historical fiction with a cup of coffee in bed.

Welcome, Mrs. Ledoux! We look forward to seeing the creativity, collaboration, and joy you will bring to our community.

Our annual Summer Staff Appreciation Lunch is a well-deserved moment to gather, enjoy food and great company, and celebrate all that our team does to keep Shore moving forward all summer long.
