This joyful, fun-filled, and FREE community event is a favorite among our residents, families, friends, supporters, and dog lovers alike! Held outdoors at the All Newton Music School, our canine contestants and their humans will strut their stuff for an esteemed panel of judges — and maybe even show off a special trick or talent. (No tricks required, though… being adorable is enough for us!)

Thank you to everyone who attended our FY26 Annual Meeting last night ✨

Board members, families, staff, and supporters gathered to reflect on all that we have accomplished and the future we are building at P2P. We celebrated the people who make P2P so special and renewed our commitment to ensuring the individuals we support are active, valued members of our community, have meaningful connections, and opportunities for everyday moments of joy that help them thrive.

We were honored to recognize outgoing Board members Marjorie Birnbaum, Jeff Dias, and Tom Evans for their years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to our individuals and their families. Their leadership has helped shape P2P into the strong, compassionate organization it is today.

We also shared updates across our Residential and Independent Living Programs, Clinical Services, Operations, Human Resources, Health Services and Advancement & Communications departments as we look ahead to FY27 with purpose and optimism (we’ve been busy!)

Thank you to our amazing community for continuing to support our mission and build lives filled with dignity, connection, independence, joy and possibilities.

What a night! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Trivia Night! We had a great time with new friends, dear friends, P2P families, board members, staff, and even our Boston Marathon charity runner- all in support of our mission. 💙

Congratulations to our winners! 🏆
First place took home a tasting for 10 at Oak n’Barrel, and 2nd and 3rd place teams walked away with Baramor gift cards—well deserved you smarties! And our 50/50 raffle winner walked away with $450!!

A special thank you to Baramor for sponsoring this event, and to their amazing bartenders and wait staff for keeping us fed and hydrated 😉 (all that thinking is hard work!). And of course thank you to Games with James for running the show!

We’re so grateful for this community and your continued support. Until next time!

Our residents have been busy creating out-of-this-world signs to cheer on our Boston Marathon charity runner, Chris Barber! All of our houses participated with the help of our Social Work Interns and Program Managers. These signs will be on full display to encourage Chris as he rounds Washington St. onto Commonwealth Ave, and a few other P2P cheering locations scattered along the route! 📣

We recently checked in with Chris, who reports that training has been good, he's feeling great, and that “long training runs can get a bit boring but having a destination like a coffee shop or brewery makes it fun”. He also shared that he’s managed to keep his heart rate steady during his long runs and has been able to sing along to whatever pops up on his playlist! Coffee, beer and cool music – we love this training routine! ☕️🍻🎶

Chris also mentioned that one of the things he's looking forward to the most is “seeing our folks on the route and getting a few high fives!" Right back at you, Chris!

So far Chris has raised over 10K and counting! To donate to Chris’s run in support of P2P visit: https://bit.ly/P2PMarathon2026

Chris, we are so grateful for your commitment and generosity – you are truly making an impact!
