The recent heatwave might be over, but many Southern Californians are still dreading their next utility bill. 🥵🧾

What if there was a way to cut down on cooling and heating costs while helping our environment too? 🤔

Good news: trees are a great way to help us conserve energy while reducing emissions! 🌳📉

It’s just one of the many reasons we are working to plant 28,000 new trees across the greater Los Angeles region before 2028.

People coming together to support our environment always feels like magic…but our recent Moonlit Magic event with Mind2Mind was extra spectacular. ✨

During this special evening benefiting TreePeople, the world champion mentalist duo invited guests into an unforgettable and immersive mind-reading experience beneath the stars in our S. Mark Taper Foundation Amphitheatre, bringing up members of the audience to participate throughout the night.

In addition to an incredible show, guests enjoyed a gourmet picnic-style dinner, fresh gelato, a silent auction, and live music by the David Aldo Trio.

And the most magical part of all? Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees, Moonlit Magic raised more than $47,000 to support TreePeople’s work creating a greener, more resilient Southern California.

AB 2734 is heading to the Governor! If signed, it will help fund outdoor equity access across multiple programs using revenue from California's iconic "Whale Tail" license plates. Huge thanks to Assemblymember Gregg Hart and his team for making this happen!

We urge the Governor to sign this bill that will continue his legacy of supporting Outdoors for All!
