Dream Street, a non-profit corporation, provides camping programs for children with chronic and life threatening illnesses. Even the medications are donated.

Each summer children ages 4-14 come together for a memorable week at Camp Dream Street. Founded in 1988, Dream Street, a non-profit corporation, provides camping programs for children with chronic and life threatening illnesses. Funded by the Dream Street Foundation, children with cancer, blood disorders and other illnesses are given the opportunity to enjoy the experiences normally restricted due

to their illness. Yearly, over 750 children attend Dream Street’s programs each summer. At present, Dream Street funds and operates programs in California, Arkansas, New Jersey, Mississippi and Arizona. For children, who require daily medicine or several times a day, the usual sleep-away camps are not able to meet their needs. At Dream Street, our volunteer counselors, as well as, our complete medical staff are available 24 hours a day to care for the children. The teams of medical staff, counselors, and volunteers donate their time and travel at their own expense to participate in our program. Camping sessions are free of charge. The children are flown in by Dream Street from around the city, country and sometimes overseas. Like the camping staff, the Dream Street Foundation and Board of Directors is made up entirely of volunteers. These people create and staff the fund-raising events as well as helping with camp activities. All funds go directly to the camping programs. May all your dreams come true.
